If you've taken a class with me in the past or are PMC certified, please come in for a Lab Day for extra practice, resources, and firing of your PMC treasures! Come in any day I'm having a class and there are seats available ~ lab fee is $50 for the hours during the class. I have PMC and Art Clay Silver available, or bring your own. This 4-hour introductory class covers the basics of Precious Metal Clay. Together we'll discover some of the many possibilities of this unique medium!

Students will finish two projects. First, a complete pendant project will give you the basic skills needed for metal clay work.

      Examples of pieces made with
                        the skills learned in this class!

For the second project, students may choose between another pendant or a pair of earrings! .

Class fee includes:
Materials for two projects (16G package of PMC), firing of the completed piece, and a pendant chain / other findings ~ so you can wear your new piece of art home!

More PMC will be available for purchase for students who would like to make additional projects!

This is a perfect opportunity to make some beautiful holiday presents!

An open studio for precious metal clay artists who may want additional instruction or would like to have access to a kiln for firing their pieces. I will help you solve design, construction and firing challenges, helping you create some great pieces!

Precious Metal Clay silver, dichroic glass cabs, and other fireable gems will be available for purchase.

Tools and resources like rubber stamps, work space, rollers, etc will be available for use during the class.

Two firings will be done ~ one approximately half way through the studio time (so you can polish and finish your pieces) and one more at the end. Most pieces will be OK to take home that day, unless they contain fragile fireables like dichroic glass.
